However, as a viewer, the Chaukdi gang’s ‘friendship’ never leaves an impact on you because of the ‘macho’ responsibilities placed on the gang by its unbelievable plot. It makes way for a stretch where the plotting becomes somewhat clearer and steadier, allowing the characters to come into their own and lend the storyline certain recognizable contours. There are few bold scenes and abusive languages in the movie, so you must not watch the movie with Kids or family, If you are going to watch the movie for the romance sequences or any other bold scenes, don’t go for it, there is nothing like that in the movie except few second in songs. But lost in the melee is a gripping screenplay required in a film about gangsters and a sensible plot that makes it worth sitting through the film’s two hour 10 minutes runtime. The boys fall foul of the state. Phagun, Rizwan and Bahadur give up the life of crime side and become businessmen, while Mitwa disappears, only to return years later and turn his friends’ lives upside down. When they complete their prison terms, three of them - Phagun, Rizwan (Varma) and Bahadur (Basumatary) reunite and decide to clean up their act.
