I’ve never tried vega bars but you are totally right but I definitely feel you on needing to grab a bar when I’m traveling. Weighing in at 15g of protein, this was perfect for me after a long, intense workout. I would have liked to see a little more protein in these bars, but overall they were tasty snack. But there are time when I’m traveling or running errands when I need something quick on-the-go to fill me up.

The flavor is great, and there’s a nice bit of crunch to improve the texture.
That puts it right around the middle of the 20 or so bars I’ve tested (a tiny bit above average). I am not a big fan of chewy bars. If you’ve been following me for awhile now, you know I’m not a fan of protein bars and powders because of the added junk in most processed foods. Overall, I was impressed with Vega bars and I’m hard to impress. Keep a high protein bar in your gym bag or car for quick fuel after your workout or easy vegan snack on the go.
