Single Point of Access (SPA) informationIf you are a Hertfordshire resident and you are not already in contact with our services and you, a friend or relative are experiencing mental health problems for the first time and need emergency treatment, you can contact the Single Point of Access as follows: If you are already in contact with our services and need help during working hours (9am– 5.15pm) please contact your care coordinator. Hertfordshire Wellbeing is a free NHS service, offering practical and psychological support to those are experiencing difficulties with their emotional wellbeing.
The Wellbeing Team covers Hertfordshire, with the main bases being Hemel Hempstead (Dacorum and St Albans), Watford (Three Rivers and Hertsmere), Stevenage (Stevenage and North Herts) and Welwyn (Welwyn and Hatfield).

HPFT provides IAPT services across 7 teams in Hertfordshire and North Essex supporting around 40,000 adults every year to manage their common mental health difficulties, such as anxiety and depression.
Carers of people with an identified functional Mental Health need, even if they are not receiving HPFT services, are also eligible for a carers assessment ie an assessment of their needs in their caring role and the support they might require to maintain their well-being.
Last quarter 88% of young people and their parents and carers said they would recommend our CAMHS services to their friends and family if they needed them.
