Unfortunate, but clearly someone with a troubled mindset whose priorities are far from in order. The Jags last win came in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts where they won 27-20. Smith retired with 586 career tackles to his name along with 7.5 sacks, nine interceptions, five forced fumbles and three touchdowns. The ever-changing story of Telvin Smith’s year continues. Smith previously announced he would sit out the 2019 season. General manager Dave Caldwell seemed to sense something was amiss with Smith during the NFL draft, saying “we’ll see” when asked whether he expected Smith to be on the roster this fall.
